Service Learning at Ullens
We at Ullens pledge to develop in our students a lifelong passion for service empowering them so that they will make a difference in the quality of life of others whether locally, countrywide, or globally.
The students are taught leadership skills in effectively communication,promoting and how to make happen their intended goals under the direction of the Service Learning Coordinator and Staff.
They will under adult guidance, create, initiate, make decisions, and complete their project. They will be expected to keep record of their project through journaling, a log, and reflective essays.
The intended long term goal is for the students to become compassionate caring adults who look for positive solutions to challenges and have the desire and skills to take on a call to action.
The students of Ullens after the successful completion of their project will have become leaders. They will continue to have experiences throughout their school years towards the realization of these goals.
