Development of New Leadership Positions at Ullens School
As Ullens School grows, so has the need to develop new leadership roles and
effective learning and management practices to ensure high quality education.
To meet these objectives, two new leadership positions have been instated at
Ullens School as of this year.
Ekta Rana, Senior School and IB English Teacher has been promoted to the
position of the Senior School Coordinator and Vani Rana Social Studies and
Grade 5 Teacher has been promoted to the position of Primary School Coordinator.
Primary responsibilities of the two coordinators include:
| 1. | Helping school administration to strengthen primary and senior school
programs. It includes strengthening curriculum, lesson planning, instruction
delivery, primary level teacher supervision, student assessment and reporting
to parents. |
| 2. | Creating conducive Learning Environment in primary and senior school grades. |
| 3. | Organizing PD workshops as per the needs of teachers in primary and senior
grade levels. |
| 4. | Studying the PYP and MYP Programs of IBO and draw connections to program
design and teaching/learning strategies that brings us closer to the
expectations of standards of IB. |
We would like to congratulate both Ekta and Vani for their new leadership roles
and wish them all the best for fulfilling the expectations of their new
assignments.
